Painting La Conner

"La Conner Waterfront" 22" x 30" Watercolor

This is a painting I did for Champagne Cove gallery in La Conner, Washington. Champagne Cove is in the red building on the left and I generally paint on the deck/dock out front when I'm there. The second building from the right has the Boardwalk Cafe where I generally go for Fish n Chips or Clam Chowder. And of course that's Mount Baker in the background.

Very nice... this may be my favorite of your paintings... if not it's really close to the top of the list. I've had chowder at the same place... great spot.

I delete the first comment because the spelling looked as if I may still be in second grade and not learning a thing... *giggle*

Haha, thanks Nancy. I really like how this picture turned out and the subject matter has a bit of special meaning to me as well since I've spent some time there painting and enjoying chowder. =)
