The Moon and Deception Pass

"The Moon and Deception Pass" 11 x 30 inches

The original for this piece is now available at Champagne Cove in La Conner, Washington.
360-466-0202

This is the last in my series of Deception Pass and La Conner paintings that I have painted over the winter. (No doubt I'll do other paintings inspired by the area at a later date, but for now I'm working on some other subjects)

wow! this is really an amazing use of color. It's so beautiful the way the colors run into each other so fluidly, and yet still give form to the shapes. Your work is beautiful, I'm glad I found your blog :)

Thanks Ester. This is one of those paintings where I nearly decided to over do it by continuing to paint on it (hey, I was having fun), luckily someone told me to stop at the right time. =)
